They're only $10.00 because the material was really
really cheap and basically I have a template and
just cut them to the template. They're just 3/16
polished alluminum plate with a rolled pattern in
them and bolt on where the airbox used to bolt in.
Maybe they can be used with the stock airbox. In
fact I'm pretty sure they can. They are mainly
for people who lost the ability to use stock covers
by removing the airbox and want a cover that perfectly
follows the contour of the frame. So being that
they take me a full 10 minutes to make and material
is about 50 cents a pair, $10.00 is a good price.
P.S. I'm hurrying, i'm hurrying. I just don't want
to screw the trees up. The alluminum cost me $50.00
damn't!! I promise 2 weeks tops!!
